What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Build and support AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Develop automated data quality validation processes and reusable transformation frameworks.
Utilize AI coding assistants and LLMs to improve development velocity and engineering efficiency.
Implement monitoring, observability, and CI/CD deployment pipelines for production systems.
Troubleshoot production pipeline failures and conduct root cause analysis for preventative improvements.
Develop proof-of-concept solutions leveraging generative AI services and intelligent operational tooling.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience in software, cloud, platform, or data engineering.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience building, supporting, or maintaining cloud-based applications, data platforms, or production systems.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, IAM, EventBridge, and Athena.
Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark for data transformation, SQL, API Integrations, and Git/GitHub.
Experience in data engineering including ETL/ELT pipelines, validation frameworks, data quality practices, and batch/event-driven processing.
AWS certification(s) (preferred).
Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and AI technologies like Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI APIs (preferred).
