What you'll do

Develop embedded software for terrestrial devices within the Project Kuiper system.
Execute all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering and design.
Write production-level code using assembly, C, C++, or Rust.
Implement real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
Develop and maintain software for Linux and RTOS environments.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using schematics and logic analyzers.
Design and implement low-level Board Support Package (BSP) software.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Expertise in Linux and RTOS systems.
Experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
Ability to review schematics, use logic analyzers, and perform bare-metal troubleshooting.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
3+ years of full software development life cycle experience including standards, reviews, source control, and build processes (preferred).
