What you'll do

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers while setting technical direction and supporting career development.
Own the camera and ISP quality test strategy including functionality, performance, power, stability, and image quality.
Write and maintain automation code in Python to develop tools and execute test plans directly.
Present test results, quality metrics, and risk assessments to senior leadership to drive actionable decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and expand automated test coverage in CI/CD pipelines.
Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent capable of solving complex embedded camera quality challenges.
Diagnose and triage complex firmware defects using logs, traces, and instrumented builds.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
At least 6 years of experience in quality or test engineering, including 2+ years managing engineers.
At least 6 years of experience defining and executing test strategy for embedded firmware, drivers, or system software.
At least 6 years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks in Python within macOS or Linux environments.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git and embedded build systems.
Experience testing hardware and backend integration points on embedded devices.
Preferred experience validating camera or ISP firmware, including knowledge of the ISP pipeline and image quality evaluation.
Experience diagnosing complex firmware defects using logs, traces, and instrumented builds.
