What you'll do

Design and develop innovative systems firmware to enable TCP/IP networking on a co-processor.
Architect and develop next-generation networking technologies for iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.
Improve operating system networking components to ensure power and thermal efficiency.
Implement networking stack components on resource-constrained embedded platforms using C or C++.
Lead cross-functional design initiatives for core networking technologies.
Mentor junior team members on firmware development and networking architecture.
Take ownership of specific problem areas within the networking technology stack.

What we're looking for

At least 5+ years of real time embedded software (firmware) development experience in design and implementation.
Proficiency in C or C++ on resource-constrained embedded platforms.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent networking software development experience.
Excellent conceptual understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP and related networking technologies.
Excellent system level architectural thinking along with low-level firmware programming skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience with Embedded Operating Systems or Micro Kernels (Embedded Linux, QNX, VxWorks, L4 etc.) (preferred).
Experience with Networking stack implementations (BSD, Linux/ Android, Solaris, lwIP, sevenstax, mbedTLS etc.) (preferred).
