Embedded Firmware Engineer, Connected Warfare

What you'll do

• Write firmware in C for microcontrollers across Connected Warfare platforms.
• Develop and integrate reusable device drivers for sensors, peripherals, and communication interfaces.
• Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries using bench tools and embedded techniques.
• Support board bring-up by reviewing schematics and validating interfaces with the Electrical Engineering team.
• Contribute to firmware architecture decisions as the codebase grows.
• Ship production code to systems deployed in the field.

What we're looking for

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 1+ years of firmware or embedded software development experience.
• Solid C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, or UART.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
• Experience with one or more microcontroller cores (ARM, AVR, MSP430, PIC, etc.) (preferred).
• Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors (preferred).
