You will contribute to firmware architecture decisions and develop code for the Menace Family-of-Systems, which integrates sensor data, communications, and autonomy into deployable hardware to provide a decisive edge in real time.

What you'll do

Write firmware in C for microcontrollers across various Connected Warfare platforms.
Develop and integrate reusable device drivers for sensors, peripherals, and communication interfaces.
Debug complex issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries using bench tools.
Perform board bring-up by reviewing schematics and validating interfaces with the Electrical Engineering team.
Contribute to high-level firmware architecture decisions as the codebase expands.
Ship production-ready code for deployment on hardware in the field.

What we're looking for

Must have a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Must have at least 1 year of firmware or embedded software development experience.
Must possess solid C coding ability for embedded systems.
Must have experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
Must be familiar with common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
Must be a U.S. Person to access export-controlled information or facilities.
Preferred experience includes working with microcontroller cores like ARM, AVR, MSP430, or PIC.
Preferred experience includes debugging with JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
