Electro-Mechanical Sustainment Engineer, EW

What you'll do

• Own the mechanical design of products in production or transitioning into production.
• Implement product improvements to enhance reliability and manufacturability, improve documentation, and facilitate sourcing.
• Lead investigations into manufacturing/design issues and propose corrective changes.
• Manage and update the bill of materials for a product throughout its lifecycle.
• Generate parts, assemblies, and drawings using NX software to document design changes.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, and test processes to support hardware manufacturing.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years experience in manufacturing or hands-on R&D engineering
• Degree in mechanical engineering required
• Strong CAD modeling and drafting skills (NX preferred)
• Experience with rapid prototyping and fixture design
• Secret security clearance mandatory
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems for military applications
• Ability to manage BOMs and lead product improvement initiatives
