As an Electrical Assembly Technician at our manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in both product assembly and maintaining the electrical infrastructure of our shop floor. Your day-to-day responsibilities include assembling panels and switchboards, pulling and routing cables, terminating connectors, hooking up motors, and outfitting marine compartments with complete electrical systems. Additionally, you’ll handle high-voltage installations for CNC machines and production equipment, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and supporting facility troubleshooting and repairs. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of experience in industrial or shipboard environments, proficiency with wire harness fabrication, and the ability to read complex electrical schematics. Familiarity with NAVSEA, SUBSAFE, and SOC requirements is a plus, as well as California electrician licensing and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.

What you'll do

  • Assemble electrical panels and switchboards, wire components per schematics.
  • Pull, route, and secure cable through compartments for proper installation.
  • Terminate cables at connectors and equipment interfaces to ensure connectivity.
  • Hook up motors and controllers, verify phasing and continuity for functionality.
  • Install high-voltage equipment feeds and transformers for production requirements.
  • Perform facility electrical troubleshooting and repair to maintain operational readiness.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of electrical experience in industrial, shipboard, or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with high-voltage systems (480V) installation, termination, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in NEC for facility electrical installations and compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including overtime as required by production schedules.
  • Must possess a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred: California licensed electrician or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
