What you'll do

Build custom electrical test racks, fixtures, and ground support equipment from engineering drawings and BOMs.
Fabricate and terminate mil-spec cable harnesses using specialized connectors and EMI shielding techniques.
Execute and document electrical test procedures including continuity, hi-pot, and functional validation.
Operate and configure bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and DAQ systems.
Troubleshoot electrical assemblies and systems to the component level using root cause analysis.
Perform PCBA rework and repair for SMT and through-hole components to IPC-610 standards.
Interpret engineering drawings to identify and resolve design or BOM discrepancies during the build process.
Support the setup and troubleshooting of EMI/EMC test configurations per MIL-STD-461 and RTCA DO-160.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience building custom electrical test racks or cable harnesses in R&D, prototype, or aerospace/defense environments.
Experience fabricating mil-spec circular connectors including D38999, Mighty Mouse, Glenair, and Amphenol.
Current or previously held IPC-620 certification (CIS or CIT).
Current or previously held J-STD-001 soldering certification.
Proficiency configuring and operating oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and DMMs.
Ability to read and build from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs with incomplete documentation.
U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted.
