Electrical Technical Operations Manager

What you'll do

• Oversees compliance with technical aspects of international maritime regulations.
• Manages maintenance and documentation for ships' electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinates installation and repair activities to maintain company standards.
• Provides continuous shipboard support for critical navigation and communication systems.
• Ensures corrective and preventive actions are taken on identified issues.
• Implements safety management system policies and procedures in areas of responsibility.
• Maintains technical information libraries and provides shore-based assistance for vessels.

What we're looking for

• At least five years of experience in sea-going operations or ship management.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution, control systems, and automation.
• Experience interpreting Flag State, Port State, classification society regulations.
• Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and technical teams effectively.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for shipboard electrical, navigation, and telecommunication systems.
• Demonstrated experience working within the cruise industry.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
