Electrical Engineer II

What you'll do

• Design circuits and PCB assemblies for autonomous vehicle power distribution, compute, storage, and sensor interfaces.
• Own schematic design, component selection, and PCB design reviews with a focus on SI/PI and EMI/EMC.
• Perform hands-on bring-up, characterization, and debugging of prototype hardware using electrical lab equipment.
• Develop and execute Design Validation Plans to verify electrical performance, thermal performance, and fault behavior.
• Support the integration of electrical hardware into autonomous vehicle platforms and prototype builds.
• Maintain schematics, BOMs, and design documentation while supporting component qualification and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vehicle-level electrical and interface issues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical hardware design, development, integration, and validation.
• Expertise in analog, digital, and power electronics, including DC/DC converters and power distribution.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, component selection, PCB development, and hardware debugging using lab equipment.
• Experience with EDA tools such as OrCAD or Altium Designer.
• Experience developing electrical hardware for automotive, robotics, or autonomous vehicles (preferred).
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, GMSL/FPD-Link) and automotive communications like CAN/CAN-FD (preferred).
• Experience with automotive standards such as CISPR 25, ISO 16750, or LV124 (preferred).
