Wells Fargo is hiring a Cloud and Infrastructure Principal Engineer to join its Cloud Enablement team within the Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering organization. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in platform engineering on GCP, Azure, or AWS, designing scalable applications on Kubernetes, and coding cloud infrastructure with Terraform. Additional skills include familiarity with Podman/Docker, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKS, TFE, GitHub, and Harness.

What you'll do

  • Lead complex cloud modernization initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Provide expert consulting on architecture and reusable solution patterns for EFT portfolio.
  • Mentor junior team members and contractors in cloud infrastructure practices.
  • Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Enable scalable delivery through automation and developer-focused solutions.
  • Integrate container and cloud workflows with CI/CD pipelines effectively.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in platform engineering on GCP, Azure, or AWS
  • 3+ years designing, deploying, and supporting Kubernetes applications at scale
  • 3+ years coding and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • 1+ year experience designing Ansible roles for automation
  • 5+ years integrating containerized workflows with CI/CD pipelines
  • Expertise in Docker, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE, and VM virtualization
  • Strong background in TFE, GitHub, Harness, and related cloud tools
