JOB TITLE: ED, Advanced Analytics and Modeling
The Executive Director, Advanced Analytics and Modeling leads the Advanced Analytics and Modeling portfolio within the US Insights and Analytics organization. This leader defines the strategy, capability roadmap, and investment priorities for key areas including Precision Health, Key Drivers and Action Planning Analytics, Integrated Promotion Mix Modeling and Resource Optimization, and AI and Unstructured Intelligence. The role involves managing a global operating model, overseeing senior capability owners, and translating business decisions into analytical capabilities. Key responsibilities include establishing standards for analytical rigor, privacy, and responsible AI while incubating NLP, GenAI, and text analytics. The position requires expertise in predictive modeling, causal inference, ROI analysis, and optimization to solve complex commercial, patient, and healthcare delivery problems within a highly regulated life sciences environment.
Define and execute the Advanced Analytics & Modeling strategy, capability roadmap, and investment priorities.
Lead the portfolio across Precision Health, Key Drivers, Promotion Mix Modeling, and AI capabilities.
Establish transparent demand intake, prioritization, service levels, and portfolio governance across the enterprise.
Allocate US and Hyderabad resources to balance near-term decision support with long-term capability development.
Set standards for analytical rigor, validation, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI.
Incubate AI and Unstructured Intelligence capabilities including NLP, GenAI, and text analytics.
Partner with senior business leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable analytical agendas.
Manage the global US–Hyderabad operating model, including coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
What we're looking for
Minimum 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in advanced analytics, data science, decision science, commercial analytics, healthcare analytics, or a related quant field.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred.
Proven success defining and executing advanced analytics strategies, capability roadmaps, maturity agendas, and investment priorities across multiple analytical domains.
Experience leading senior capability owners, flexible expert teams, complex portfolios, and globally distributed analytics organizations.
Broad technical fluency across predictive modeling, patient analytics, causal inference, experimentation, promotion-mix modeling, ROI analysis, NLP, GenAI, and unstructured analytics.
Proven ability to frame executive-level decisions, translate complex analytics into strategic choices, and influence senior business and technology leaders.
Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
