As a Display Silicon Architect, you will join the Display team to design, architect, develop, and launch next-generation display technologies for Apple products. You will own the chip architecture and specification, defining requirements for display silicon and subsystems while establishing critical block design rules and guidelines. Your daily responsibilities include authoring engineering requirement specifications, performing and reviewing simulations with silicon teams, managing system-level risk and performance tradeoffs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for custom products. You will work with external vendors and internal teams through all phases of development to qualify ICs for mass production. The role requires expertise in analog mixed-signal design, amplifiers, DACs, oscillators, and high-speed links. Preferred technical skills include proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Verilog to solve complex problems within the electronic display and graphics subsystem domain.
