The Display Engineer joins the hardware development and validation team to manage new display technology development and drive the implementation of technology platforms into final products. Identify critical metrics impacting display performance and analyze experimental and build data.

Investigate new display technologies and perform detailed tradeoff studies to enhance performance.
Conduct system modeling to assist in the design and validation of next-generation hardware.
Optimize system-level performance based on critical metrics through engineering builds and designs of experiments.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience in display hardware development, validation, or research in a related field like optics or photonics.
Expertise in at least one to two subsets of optics, physics, electrical engineering, optical components, image processing, machine learning, or computer science.
Ability to travel overseas.
Deep understanding of display technologies such as TFT, LED, OLED, and optical fundamentals (preferred).
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills (preferred).
Concise and effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills in English (preferred).
Proficiency with statistical tools, programming languages, and optical simulators to solve engineering problems (preferred).
Experience in high volume mass production consumer electronics or working with cross-functional teams and overseas suppliers (preferred).
