NVIDIA seeks a hands-on Director to lead the development of its Retail & CPG Industries product platform in Santa Clara. This senior role involves defining and building an AI-driven platform that will revolutionize digital commerce, supply chains, and intelligent stores. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NVIDIA’s GPU acceleration libraries and expertise in retail, logistics, or marketplaces to architect systems using NeMo microservices and Nemotron models. Key responsibilities include developing the platform strategy across supply chain, e-commerce, and physical stores, building reusable reference architectures, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency. The role requires a strong background in AI systems, distributed systems, and APIs, as well as proven experience in lean, high-velocity environments and hands-on development of AI agents.
Define the technical vision and architecture for NVIDIA’s Retail & CPG platform.
Architect systems using NVIDIA’s Agentic AI, Physical AI, and accelerated computing stack.
Build reusable reference architectures to facilitate industry adoption of the platform.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver a production-ready platform focusing on efficiency.
Ensure system reliability through continuous monitoring and evaluation strategies.
Work closely with solution engineers to present the platform to ISVs and customers.
What we're looking for
Over 15 years of experience in high-growth tech companies or building AI solutions for major retailers.
At least 7 years of team management experience in technical roles.
Proven ability to write code and ship systems, with expertise in developing AI agents.
Strong background in AI systems, including LLMs, RAG, and agent-based architectures.
Experience with GPU acceleration libraries such as CUDA, Triton, and TensorRT.
Familiarity with enterprise AI architectures and distributed systems.
Deep understanding of data pipelines, embeddings, and system architecture.
