TL;DR · Director, Program Management, Digital Infrastructure

The Director, Program Management - Digital Infrastructure joins the Digital Infrastructure business line to serve as the program leader for integrated energy solutions supporting large-scale data center developments. This role coordinates multiple independently managed workstreams, including renewable generation, thermal generation, geothermal, battery energy storage, and transmission infrastructure, into a unified strategy. The Director is responsible for driving the overall energy architecture, defining system-level decisions, and managing critical interfaces to meet specific data center load requirements. Key responsibilities include establishing integrated program plans, reconciling competing workstreams, and evaluating tradeoffs across reliability, capital cost, and execution risk. The position requires expertise in energy-development processes, interconnection, permitting, and construction sequencing. The successful candidate will synthesize complex technical analyses into decision-oriented recommendations to ensure reliable, executable energy solutions for multi-building campuses.

What you'll do

  • Lead the integration of generation, storage, grid, and infrastructure workstreams into a unified energy strategy for data center developments.
  • Develop the integrated energy architecture by defining the roles and phasing of various power technologies based on load requirements.
  • Translate data center load requirements into coordinated technical specifications for underlying energy and infrastructure workstreams.
  • Establish and maintain the integrated program plan, including major milestones, dependencies, and critical-path items across teams.
  • Evaluate system-level tradeoffs regarding reliability, capital costs, execution risk, and operational complexity to provide decision-oriented recommendations.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, gaps, and dependencies among individual workstreams to prevent delays in permitting or construction.
  • Drive integrated risk management by identifying and creating mitigation plans for technical, regulatory, and supply-chain risks.
  • Create repeatable integrated energy planning and delivery frameworks to be applied across the growing Digital Infrastructure portfolio.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or a related technical discipline.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in energy or major infrastructure development.
  • Experience developing or delivering complex power-generation, grid, storage, transmission, or integrated energy projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading programs involving multiple energy technologies, infrastructure workstreams, or large-load requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of power-generation and infrastructure development across multiple technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive outcomes across organizations where workstream leaders do not report directly to the role.
  • Strong executive communication skills to synthesize complex technical information into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
