As Director, Product Management – Cloud Security, you will join the product team to own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for a core segment of the cloud security portfolio. In this player-coach role, you will build and lead a team of product managers while translating market signals into actionable roadmaps for workloads, containers, identities, and data across public, private, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing to manage pricing models, architecture decisions, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate possesses over eight years of experience in enterprise SaaS or infrastructure, specifically within cloud security domains like CWPP, CSPM, CNAPP, or DSPM. Required technical competencies include proficiency in AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and the shared-responsibility model, alongside expertise in eBPF-based or agent-based security architectures to solve complex protection challenges for global enterprises.
Own and evangelize the strategy and vision for the Cloud Security product portfolio.
Build, lead, and mentor a team of product managers while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Manage the product roadmap by making explicit trade-offs and prioritization decisions.
Define and report on key business metrics including pipeline influence, retention, and usage.
Partner with engineering leadership to make architecture and sequencing decisions affecting time-to-market.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to sharpen positioning and support strategic deals.
Engage directly with customers, prospects, and analysts to pressure-test roadmap assumptions.
Represent the Cloud Security segment in company-wide planning regarding revenue, margin, and competition.
What we're looking for
8 or more years of product management experience at enterprise SaaS or infrastructure companies.
2 or more years of experience leading and managing other product managers.
Direct experience owning a cloud security or cloud-native product (CWPP, CSPM, CNAPP, DSPM, or adjacent).
Technical fluency with cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers/Kubernetes, and the shared-responsibility model.
Strong business judgment to develop pricing models and connect roadmap decisions to ARR and margin.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives, analysts, and customers.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 15% for customer engagements and internal planning.
Prior experience at a cybersecurity vendor or in a SOC/security-practitioner role (preferred); experience with usage-based pricing (preferred); familiarity with eBPF-based or agent-based security architectures (preferred).
