Director of Product Management, Payments Platform

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of a fintech payments platform including roadmap, execution, and launch.
• Lead 0→1 product development for complex initiatives by defining theses, writing specs, and managing trade-offs.
• Navigate technical complexities in payment infrastructure, financial rails, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Manage relationships with external partners like financial institutions and infrastructure providers to integrate products.
• Define product vision based on technical feasibility, user needs, and measurable business impact.
• Establish success metrics and use data and experimentation to drive accountability for results.
• Integrate AI tools and strategies into the product development lifecycle and fintech value stack.
• Improve organizational standards by optimizing meeting structures and reporting on product performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced technical degree (preferred).
• 8+ years of product management experience.
• 2+ years leading senior-level initiatives or managing PMs at high-growth payments, fintech, marketplace, or large-scale consumer technology companies.
• Proven track record driving meaningful P&L impact of tens of millions in annual revenue or more.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, backend systems, event pipelines, experimentation frameworks, and data architecture.
• Experience defining and executing an AI strategy for consumer product surfaces (preferred).
• SQL proficiency (preferred).
