Director of Engineering, End to End Autonomous Driving

What you'll do

• Define the technical roadmap for advanced ML models to enhance vehicle planning and reasoning.
• Recruit and lead an elite team of ML engineers focused on developing LLM/VLM/VLA systems.
• Oversee data generation strategies to ensure high-quality training datasets for production use.
• Ensure AI model integration meets rigorous performance and safety standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Provide deep technical mentorship on integrating ML models into the autonomous driving software stack.

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership managing ML teams focused on autonomous systems or robotics for over 5 years.
• Hands-on experience delivering pioneering ML planning models in real-world environments from research to deployment.
• Deep technical expertise in modern deep learning architectures and optimization techniques for large-scale training.
• Track record of shipping production-grade ML models at scale for safety-critical applications.
• Strategic vision to translate complex research into tactical engineering plans and long-term product roadmaps.
• Master’s degree or PhD in CS, EE, or related field with 12+ years of industry experience in AV or AI.
