Director of Engineering, AiDP Data Services

What you'll do

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for data services aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data architects, engineers, and database professionals.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of open-source and commercial databases for scalable platforms.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all enterprise data systems.
• Drive best practices in data engineering, quality, and governance across the organization.
• Integrate Next Gen AI capabilities into data platforms to enhance functionality and insights.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve data infrastructure efficiency.

What we're looking for

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, database management, and transactional/analytics platforms.
• Proven leadership in managing and scaling data services for complex, high-volume ecosystems.
• Deep expertise in modern data architectures, governance, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with MLOps and integrating AI/ML models into data pipelines.
• Experience in highly regulated industries or with stringent data compliance requirements.
