Director of Architecture, Data and AI

What you'll do

• Set the direction for data architecture across diverse transactional and analytics applications.
• Drive AI enablement at the data layer using Search, Vector, and Graph data stores.
• Lead technology and process implementations to achieve functional architecture objectives and governance.
• Manage coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success like cost of ownership and maintainability.
• Lead the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate architecture delivery and improve decision quality.
• Establish governance standards for AI-assisted workflows to ensure traceability, security, and auditability.
• Make accountable decisions regarding team resources, budgets, and tactical operations.

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of experience in software architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience architecting large scale complex data analytics platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
• Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of architects and hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Experience leading teams in the safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for architecture and delivery workflows.
