As Director of Data Center Facilities Operations & Services, you will lead the maintenance execution and vendor performance oversight for mission-critical data center facilities, ensuring consistent uptime and compliance. You will manage senior service managers responsible for mechanical, electrical, and general service delivery, driving preventive and corrective maintenance, technician readiness, and field service standards across OCI’s global portfolio. Key responsibilities include expanding in-house self-perform maintenance capabilities, establishing operational KPIs, and championing safety and compliance. The role requires extensive experience in facilities operations and maintenance leadership, with a strong background in critical infrastructure and data center environments, as well as proficiency in CMMS, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and DCIM systems.
Lead maintenance execution and field service readiness for mission-critical data center environments.
Define and drive the strategy for expanding in-house self-perform maintenance capabilities.
Ensure consistent work execution, documentation, and service quality across all sites.
Establish and track operational KPIs to monitor performance and service delivery expectations.
Partner with engineering and construction teams to support safe operations and maintainability.
Lead incident response and recovery coordination for major mechanical or electrical events.
Champion safety and compliance in a 24/7 mission-critical environment.
What we're looking for
7-10+ years of experience in facilities operations or maintenance leadership in mission-critical environments.
Proven track record leading managers and service teams in data centers or similar uptime-critical settings.
Expertise in critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including cooling systems, HVAC, power distribution, and related maintenance workflows.
Experience in establishing performance metrics, operational governance, and standardized service practices across multiple sites.
Familiarity with CMMS, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, DCIM, and other systems supporting service planning and execution.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage vendors and coordinate cross-functionally in high-pressure environments.
