Director, Data & Analytics

What you'll do

• Lead the Data & Analytics team to deliver global stewardship capabilities for research, voting, and reporting.
• Design and maintain a code stack using internal tools and external applications like Aladdin.
• Automate workflows to improve analyst efficiency and strengthen operational controls.
• Ensure the integrity of the data environment and oversee quality control for proprietary datasets.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest corporate filings, news, and financial data.
• Integrate advanced AI techniques, including RAG systems and agentic workflows, into the stewardship process.
• Manage the development of tools and processes in partnership with internal technology and risk teams.
• Direct a team of analysts in the selection and application of appropriate data tools and reports.

What we're looking for

• An undergraduate degree is required; a Master’s degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Statistics is preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in data engineering are required.
• Experience in evaluating and deploying modern AI techniques, including RAG-based systems and agentic workflows, is required.
• Expert-level proficiency in relational modeling and complex query optimization is required.
• Significant experience with Snowflake (specifically Lake House implementations) is required.
• Proficiency in Python or C# to automate workflows and solve engineering hurdles is required.
• Experience building research and analytics platforms and designing robust ETL/ELT pipelines is required.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical personnel at senior levels are required.
