You will solve the technical challenge of enabling real-time autonomy by developing low-latency software that interfaces with low-level sensor inputs and actuator commands across various automotive systems.

What you'll do

Lead end-to-end platform integration and adapt technology to specific OEM solutions.
Design and develop software abstractions for vehicle and sensor adaptation layers.
Build mechanisms to improve software integration across diverse vehicle and sensor configurations.
Enhance software components and validate improvements through real-world and synthetic testing.
Conduct in-vehicle tests and analyze sensor and vehicle data to support autonomous missions.
Write production-quality C++ code utilizing GPGPU (CUDA) to accelerate processing workloads.
Develop unit tests and documentation while ensuring compliance with MISRA and automotive safety standards.

What we're looking for

MS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering fields (or equivalent experience).
Relevant industry experience.
8+ years of experience managing a team.
Excellent C and C++ programming skills.
Experience developing and debugging multithreaded/distributed applications like multimedia systems or game engines.
Strong knowledge of Linux, Android, and/or other real-time operating systems.
Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS and/or multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer.
Understanding of embedded and heterogeneous architectures, including GPUs (preferred).
