DFM Automation & AI Tools Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop automated ECAD and DRC checks based on field learnings.
• Create tools to improve the efficiency of design review and manufacturing processes.
• Build dashboards and data products to summarize large, complex datasets.
• Process and visualize diverse data types including geometric, image, network, and time-series data.
• Develop algorithms and models to drive design intelligence for product designers.
• Maintain and improve the data quality of high-volume data systems.
• Create web applications and tools using modern programming languages and web technologies.

What we're looking for

• Experience with scripting, development, or advanced use of EDA tools for PCB or FPC analysis.
• 3+ years proficiency with one or more programming languages including Python, C++, Rust, Swift, and/or JavaScript.
• BS or higher in mechanical, computer, or software engineering (or similar).
• Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and metrics for products and tools (preferred).
• Expertise in processing, transforming, and visualizing structured and unstructured data (preferred).
• Proficiency with web technologies, HTML, and web APIs (preferred).
• Understanding of ML, deep learning, or reinforcement learning models (preferred).
• Experience with cloud computing systems, containerization, DevOps, Agile, and Git version control (preferred).
