Developer Success Engineer

What you'll do

• Build new features and fix bugs in Stytch and Twilio products.
• Serve as a technical resource to answer customer questions about the product.
• Help developers design implementations and navigate the product's functionality.
• Act as the voice of the customer by relaying insights to Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Improve documentation and processes for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Debug customer integrations, SDKs, and open-source libraries to ship well-tested fixes.
• Implement product improvements directly within the existing codebase.

What we're looking for

• Must have 2+ years of experience writing code to build, debug, or automate in a support, solutions, or software engineering role.
• Must have hands-on programming experience in a major language.
• Must be able to debug others' code, including customer integrations, SDKs, and open-source libraries.
• Must be able to ship small, well-tested fixes in an existing codebase.
• Must have familiarity with modern web services and APIs.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels.
• Must have a genuine drive to understand customer needs and concerns.
• Experience with authentication protocols (SAML/OAuth), MFA, IdP (preferred).
• Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role such as technical support or solutions engineering (preferred).
• Direct experience working on a dedicated software development or product team (preferred).
