As a Design Verification Engineer within the Hardware Technology organization, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality and performance of premier SOCs, IPs, or subsystems. You will work closely with design and micro-architecture teams to review specifications, develop test plans, create coverage plans, and define next-generation verification methodologies and testbenches. Your daily work involves ensuring quality across various components including Neural Engine hardware, memory controllers, encoding/decoding systems, security features, high-speed IO standards, power management, and networking protocols. To succeed in this role, you must possess skills in SystemVerilog, UVM, digital simulation, and debug. You should also have proficiency in Python or Perl for scripting, a strong grasp of computer architecture, and solid software programming skills involving data structures and algorithms. Experience with C/C++ and assembly is considered an advantage.
