What you'll do

  • Own and elevate Ramp's brand experience on web surfaces like launch pages and interactive product storytelling.
  • Build and evolve a scalable web design system including layout patterns, component libraries, and motion language.
  • Prototype in code first before opening Figma, then hand prototypes directly to engineering or ship them independently.
  • Set visual standards for typography, spacing, color, motion, and hierarchy across all external surfaces.
  • Bridge the gap between brand and product experiences to ensure coherence and consistency.
  • Share systems, patterns, and workflows with other teams to raise overall craft quality.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in web design or design engineering with a significant project overhaul.
  • Active daily use of LLMs (Claude, Cursor) in design and prototyping workflow.
  • Front-end fluency: ability to prototype and build designs in HTML/CSS/JS, React, etc.
  • Portfolio showcasing both brand craft and product thinking with interactive experiences.
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout patterns, and visual hierarchy principles.
  • Experience working directly with front-end engineers on production projects.
