What you'll do

Lead technical execution from initial vision and design through fabrication, testing, and production.
Develop systems that support expeditionary operations and modular sensor expansion for warfighters.
Manage system-level architecture at the intersection of software and hardware for cost-effective designs.
Define product milestones, lead technical design reviews, and manage engineering risks.
Coordinate the fabrication of prototypes and low-rate production articles.
Create and execute verification and validation plans for end-to-end systems.
Conduct hands-on, in-field testing and support remote troubleshooting of deployed systems.
Work with senior leadership to ensure resource plans align with work scope.

What we're looking for

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Technical Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Software engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Experience in a senior role leading system design and development from initial concept through test and delivery to customers.
Experience with data analysis, rapid prototyping, and early-stage customer deployment.
Hands-on build and prototyping of complex robotic systems.
Familiarity with mechatronic design, firmware and software system design, sensor physics, tracking, calibration, and data-backed decision making.
Basic understanding of Aerodynamics, Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), and Control Actuation Servos.
Real-world operational experience with small UAS systems in a military context (preferred).
