TL;DR · Datacenter Product Architect

As a Datacenter Product Architect, you will join the team to define and design products for high performance computing, artificial intelligence, and other datacenter markets. You will drive architecture for datacenter systems from the chip level to full-scale deployments while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across silicon, software, networking, and operations. Your daily work involves translating customer needs into design inputs, analyzing trade-offs in performance, power, and cost, and managing products from concept through large production deployment. The role requires deep expertise in hardware architecture, including mechanical, power, and thermal considerations for servers at scale. You will navigate complex problems spanning software and hardware while utilizing knowledge of GPU compute, networking, manufacturing operations, and cloud server deployments to solve technical challenges within the datacenter infrastructure space.

What you'll do

  • Drive architecture for datacenter systems from the chip level to full datacenter scale.
  • Define and build future products by coordinating with silicon, software, networking, and operations teams.
  • Translate customer needs into specific design inputs and consistent architectural strategies.
  • Analyze performance, power, and cost trade-offs to inform critical design decisions.
  • Manage systems from initial concept through large-scale production deployments.
  • Solve complex problems spanning both hardware and software domains.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience working on datacenter systems.
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and design of servers including mechanical, power, and thermal components.
  • Hands-on experience with hard problems that span software and hardware.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven record to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with large projects involving co-development of custom processors, accelerators, systems, and software (preferred).
  • Familiarity with GPU compute, NVIDIA networking, manufacturing operations, and cloud server deployments (preferred).
