As a Data Security Engineer, Senior, you will architect, deploy, and configure data security solutions for DoD, IC, and civilian federal clients. You will design new architectures following Zero Trust best practices and IC data header guidelines while collaborating with agency personnel and internal engineering teams to build custom policies for hybrid cloud environments. Your daily work involves systems administration, including the installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of tools such as Virtru, PKWare, or Thales. You will also manage DSPMs like Varonis and BigID, handle containerization solutions, and maintain data-centric security models. The role requires expertise in documenting technical architectures and managing infrastructure for federal information security. Required skills include experience with Linux administration and knowledge of federal security policies to solve complex data protection challenges within highly regulated government environments.
Architect, deploy, and configure data security solutions for federal and defense clients.
Create new architectures that adhere to Zero Trust best practices and IC data header guidelines.
Build custom policies to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments.
Perform systems administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for data security tools.
Manage and maintain data-centric security models and containerization solutions.

What we're looking for
Experience designing, deploying, and configuring data security solutions.
Experience with systems administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for tools like Virtru, PKWare, or Thales.
Experience with DSPMs such as Varonis and BigID.
Experience with containerization solutions and data-centric security models.
Experience designing, implementing, configuring, operating, or testing IT systems or security infrastructure.
Ability to document and diagram technical architectures.
High school diploma or GED.
Secret clearance required.
Experience working in federal, DoD, or IC agency environments (preferred).
Experience with Linux administration (preferred).
Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, and risk management processes (preferred).
