Data Scientist, Strategic Data Solutions

What you'll do

• Develop and research evaluation methods and models to identify and fight fraud.
• Design and execute observational and experimental studies using causal inference.
• Develop scalable data solutions to drive reports, analyses, and automated alerts.
• Influence upstream data model design and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Measure the impact of features and initiatives to improve the customer experience.
• Communicate technical results and insights to both technical and non-technical senior leaders.
• Work independently on high-visibility projects to identify risks and develop frameworks.

What we're looking for

• Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 3 years experience working as a Data Scientist.
• Proficiency in data querying using SQL, Spark, or equivalent technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for data processing and analysis such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Excellent communication and multi-functional collaboration skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience applying LLMs to solve technical problems like data analysis, data automation, and synthetic data generation (preferred).
• Experience developing anomaly detection and causal inference models (preferred).
