Senior Associate Data Scientist

What you'll do

• Build and operate scalable batch and streaming data pipelines with established SLAs and monitoring.
• Create and maintain trusted data products including dimensions, event models, and reporting marts.
• Deliver metrics and feature-ready datasets to measure AI adoption and productivity.
• Implement data quality and governance controls such as validation, lineage, and auditability.
• Orchestrate complex workflows using Airflow or similar tools for backfills and retries.
• Model and transform data using SQL and dbt to ensure repeatable measurement.
• Write production-grade Python and PySpark code with performance tuning and testing.
• Define requirements and success criteria for cross-functional stakeholders across finance and product teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience building production data solutions with strong ownership and delivery.
• Strong engineering fundamentals including OOP, testing, and the development lifecycle.
• Strong data modeling skills across dimensional, normalized, and event-based models.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Spark/PySpark.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt or equivalent to build testable data codebases.
• Experience operating orchestration pipelines using Airflow or equivalent.
• Experience with modern lakehouse/warehouse patterns, BI/semantic layers, and experimentation methodologies (preferred).
