Data Scientist Intern

What you'll do

• Analyze system telemetry and field event data to ensure server reliability and availability.
• Create data visualizations to provide early warnings and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Calculate and validate quality metrics such as MTBF and subsystem part PPM rates.
• Provide data analytics to prioritize high-impact and pervasive issues in the field.
• Manage and analyze inventory data regarding features, configurations, and usage for development teams.
• Track parts data for incidents and manage quality targets for all server components.
• Document and drive the resolution of issues impacting Server Systems quality.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Experience or coursework in software development, design, and/or testing.
• Understanding of computer architecture and programming fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python with experience in data science and machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, or Eclipse.
• Knowledge of basic statistics, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Ability to deploy dashboards using React or other JavaScript libraries (preferred).
