Data Scientist

What you'll do

• Direct large-scale data gathering, mining, and processing to create appropriate data models.
• Implement semantic data capabilities using Natural Language Processing, text analysis, and machine learning.
• Define the scope of data analyses and report business insights using visualization technologies.
• Research and optimize data models and algorithms to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
• Develop technical solutions based on stakeholder requirements and prepare implementation plans for deployment.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives by developing standardized best practices, tools, and training materials.
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that drive business decisions and process improvements.

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of statistical tools and processes to describe business results in measurable scales and assist in making decisions.
• Ability to process large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy and precision.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking to determine root causes, use flow charts, and identify data patterns.
• Working knowledge of machine learning principles, algorithms, and programming languages such as R and Python.
• Knowledge of data management systems and ability to use query tools to extract and format data from warehouses.
• Ability to perform data mining, cleaning, and the creation of appropriate data models for large volumes of information.
• Knowledge of business process improvement best practices (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise data platforms like Snowflake and translating data into actionable recommendations (preferred).
