JOB TITLE: Data Scientist
As a Data Scientist within the Center for Design & Analysis, you will design, develop, and implement scalable data engineering, machine learning, and analytics solutions to accelerate Clinical Development. You will partner with research scientists and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data pipelines, analytical tools, and visualization solutions. Your daily work involves writing and testing ML pipelines, optimizing algorithms, and training users on provided solutions. You must possess proficiency in R, Python, and Linux shell commands, with a working understanding of neural networks, random forest classifiers, ensemble methods, and NLP. The role requires experience with distributed compute technologies like Spark or Dask, DevOps frameworks like Git, and deploying solutions in cloud environments to solve complex drug research and development problems.

What we're looking for

Proven ability to write robust code in R or Python (preferred).
Working understanding of common machine learning algorithms and approaches such as NNs, RF classifiers, Ensemble methods, and NLP (preferred).
Proficiency in Linux operating system and associated shell commands (preferred).
Experience working effectively in a globally dispersed team environment (preferred).
Experience in Drug Development or related industries/academic research (preferred).
Experience with distributed compute/data technology, DevOps frameworks (Git), and building/deploying analytic solutions in a cloud environment (preferred).
