What you'll do

Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for reproducible, well-documented analyses.
Communicate complex statistical findings and data interpretations to senior DoD leadership.
Identify new opportunities to apply data science solutions to solve high-priority challenges.

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience with data science, statistical analysis, or quantitative research.
6+ years of experience developing algorithms using R or Python libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or Tidyverse.
6+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
Experience with statistics including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, experimental design, and uncertainty quantification.
Experience with SQL for data management and distributed computing frameworks like Spark or DASK.
Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Economics (preferred); experience with NLP, geospatial analysis, Databricks, or data engineering (preferred).
TS/SCI clearance.
