You will specifically address the challenge of providing actionable insights for digital payments and fintech data by applying Generative AI and LLM patterns to automate workflows and enable natural-language data exploration within the commerce domain.

What you'll do

Define data instrumentation specs and user flows to collect behavioral, transactional, and operational data.
Design and maintain scalable analytical last-mile datasets and data products.
Build a robust metrics layer to drive trustworthy insights and AI-driven inferences.
Establish data quality frameworks and anomaly detection to ensure accuracy across all products.
Develop interactive data visualizations using AI and modern tools for self-serve decision making.
Lead discovery workshops with domain experts to synthesize requirements into wireframes and development specifications.
Mentor and up-level junior engineers and team members on data product development.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying next-generation data and AI-powered analytical products.
3+ years as a senior IC leading the development of data products, AI-enabled analytics, and visualizations across multiple lines of business.
Proficiency in SQL, Scala, and Python with hands-on experience in Spark, Kafka, Airflow, CI/CD, and version control.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional data modeling, semantic layers, and metric standardization.
Experience applying Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI patterns to analytics use cases like insight generation and workflow automation.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across engineering and business teams with excellent executive communication skills.
Familiarity with digital payments/fintech data, conversational BI, and data governance (preferred).
