Data Platform DevOps Engineer, Senior Associate (Enterprise Data Solutions)

What you'll do

• Design and operate secure, scalable cloud environments for Java/SpringBoot and React microservices.
• Own the AWS ECS application platform support model to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Spinnaker to enable frequent, safe releases.
• Identify and resolve reliability and performance bottlenecks to optimize speed and scalability across services.
• Maintain healthy data-in-motion and data-access dependencies, specifically Kafka and SQL.
• Mentor engineers by establishing reusable pipeline patterns, clear standards, and hands-on coaching.
• Align infrastructure and DevOps work with sprint goals within an Agile/Scrum framework.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud support, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS (ECS) and supporting cloud-based applications end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Working understanding of SQL and Kafka dependencies in modern service architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models and working patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to operational partners.
• Experience partnering with teams building Java/SpringBoot microservices and React micro frontends (preferred).
• Knowledge of banking operations and data, or ability to support AI-informed user experiences and agentic frameworks (preferred).
