The Data Migration Engineer II joins the Data Management and Migration Delivery Team to design, build, test, and execute data migration solutions supporting Oracle Health implementation and interface projects. This role involves analyzing business requirements, mapping and normalizing data, establishing acceptance testing criteria, and managing extraction, transformation, and loading processes. The engineer will also perform Tier 2 troubleshooting for production support and manage project risks while collaborating with technical teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Required skills include proficiency in SQL and Linux back-end commands, along with experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Python, C# CCL, database technologies, and interoperability standards like FHIR/HL7. The role specifically addresses the complex challenge of migrating healthcare data into Oracle Health solutions while ensuring accuracy and compliance within a regulated medical environment.
Design, build, and execute data migration solutions for Oracle Health implementation and interface projects.
Manage the full data lifecycle including extraction, transformation, normalization, validation, and loading processes.
Translate complex business requirements into technical migration specifications and mapping rules.
Create and maintain data normalization workbooks to guide project teams and clients.
Perform testing, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting for migration builds, uploads, and production support activities.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes while communicating status updates to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve migration tools, processes, and methodologies.

Bachelor of Science in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in a technical role involving data migration, system migration, or ETL engagement.
2+ years of experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution.
Proficiency in SQL and Linux back-end command experience.
Experience in Python, C# CCL (preferred).
At least 2+ years of experience with database technologies, Data Migration, Interoperability FHIR/HL7, or Electronic Medical Record workflow documentation (preferred).
