The Data Management Manager oversees a team of approximately seven to ten support members within the Hardware Engineering organization in the Mission Systems Sector. This role involves leading staff management, administration, and career development while serving as a Cost Account Manager. The manager is responsible for strategic planning, program performance monitoring, and enforcing data management processes for product technical and contractual data. Key responsibilities include leading proposal activities, providing thought leadership for product innovations, and executing a strategic vision for data management functions. Candidates should possess skills in office applications and experience with tools such as CADE and TopView US Government Data Delivery Systems. The role requires familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI, Requirements Traceability Matrix, contract negotiations, and Agile processes to solve complex technical data management problems within the defense sector.
Manage and lead a team of 7-10 support members in product and contractual data management.
Perform staff management, administration, and mentoring for career development and training.
Serve as the Cost Account Manager for assigned programs.
Monitor program performance and ensure the quality of all work products.
Maintain and enforce Data Management processes across the organization.
Lead proposal activities for the Hardware Engineering department.
Execute a strategic vision for Data Management functions and drive product innovations.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience, Master's and 3 years experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Previous experience in lead role(s).
Proficiency in computer use and typical office applications.
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
Advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred).
Certification as a Cost Account Manager and prior working knowledge (preferred).
Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI, contract negotiations, Requirements Traceability Matrix, CADE, TopView, NGC procurement, Agile, or Six Sigma (preferred).
High proficiency in oral and written communications at all levels (preferred).
