Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the entire lifecycle of automations, applications, and data pipelines from ideation to monitoring.
• Query, clean, and transform data to provide actionable insights for all levels of the supply chain.
• Develop, standardize, and continuously improve key process indicators and operational metrics.
• Build and maintain ETL processes and data orchestration workflows.
• Design and develop web apps, dashboards, and self-service platforms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with central software teams to define project requirements, roadmaps, and implementation details.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software or data pipelines.
• 1+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, full stack development, or software engineering via projects, research, internships, and/or professional experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required Department of State authorizations.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the work week to other sites.
• Must be able to work onsite at Starbase, TX.
• Experience managing UNIX-like operating systems via the command line (preferred).
• Strong proficiency with SQL and experience designing and querying relational databases (preferred).
