What you'll do

Design and maintain systems for storing, aggregating, and analyzing large amounts of research data.
Automate and monitor data ingestion and transformation pipelines with integrated QA and compliance checks.
Process, troubleshoot, and clean incoming clinical data from human studies to maintain accurate databases.
Architect data models and tools to harmonize disparate data sources across wired and wireless collection paths.
Develop and maintain iOS and macOS applications in Swift for data collection and health feature prototyping.
Ensure all data systems and software comply with regulations regarding electronic and clinical data.
Implement custom ETL workflows using Python or Scala across relational and file-system databases.

What we're looking for

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Software Development.
Expertise in Python or Scala with experience in large-scale data processing using Spark, Hadoop, Dask, Airflow, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Experience designing and implementing custom ETL workflows and data models across relational and file-system databases.
Experience in Swift and Xcode-based development for iOS and macOS apps using frameworks like SwiftUI, CoreData, and HealthKit.
Preferred experience in Health/Wellness, Medical Device, or Biotech research involving biomedical sensors.
Proficiency with Python scientific libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, PyTorch, or PyArrow.
Familiarity with communication protocols including TCP/IP, Bluetooth/BLE, and Serial/UART.
