What you'll do

Design and maintain systems for storing, aggregating, and analyzing large amounts of research data.
Automate and monitor data ingestion and transformation pipelines with integrated QA and compliance checks.
Process, troubleshoot, and clean incoming data from human studies to populate clinical databases.
Architect data models to harmonize disparate data sources across wired and wireless collection paths.
Develop and maintain iOS and macOS applications in Swift for data collection and feature prototyping.

What we're looking for

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Software Development.
Expertise in Python or Scala with experience in large-scale data processing using Spark, Hadoop, Dask, Airflow, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Experience designing and implementing custom ETL workflows and data models across relational and file-system databases.
Experience in Swift and Xcode-based development for iOS and macOS apps using frameworks like SwiftUI, CoreData, and HealthKit.
Experience in the health, wellness, medical device, or biotech research sectors is preferred.
Proficiency in Python libraries for scientific computing such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, PyTorch, and PyArrow.
Familiarity with communication protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, WebSocket, MQTT, Bluetooth/BLE, and Serial/UART.
