What you'll do

Develop and deploy pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data into meaningful insights.
Build scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
Create software to retrieve, parse, and process both structured and unstructured data.
Develop scripts and programs to convert various data types into usable formats.
Manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable data platforms.
Monitor and operate data platforms to ensure consistent performance for project teams.
Perform analytical exploration and data examination to support mission-driven projects.

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
Experience with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
Experience building scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
Knowledge of version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
Ability to develop scripts for converting data into usable formats and support the operation of data platforms.
HS diploma or GED.
Experience with UNIX/Linux, public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), distributed computing (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop), NoSQL, and data warehousing (preferred); Bachelor's degree and Security+ Certification (preferred).
