What you'll do

  • Install, configure, and decommission physical servers, network equipment, and storage systems.

  • Manage network cabling, PDUs, and connections for all hardware; ensure proper labeling and documentation.
  • Track inventory of data center equipment, hardware, and consumables; manage parts and supplies.
  • Assist in performing root cause analysis for operational issues as they occur.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, configurations, and incidents; prepare performance reports.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in data centers or network operations roles
  • Familiarity with enterprise server and networking equipment from major vendors
  • Basic knowledge of networks, including CompTIA A+, Network+
  • Experience with cabling standards and hardware troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Must obtain and maintain NIH public trust clearance
