What you'll do

Research, develop, and test data methodologies to generate cross-functional solutions from large datasets.
Extract and evaluate complex data sets to identify key information for military operations.
Develop data pipelines and integrate tools to create self-service frameworks for data consumers.
Create quantitative and qualitative metrics and KPIs to drive technical outcomes.
Visualize data using various formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
Translate complex technical requirements and trends into simplified insights for diverse audiences.
Present data findings and actionable recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Identify new data sources and methods to improve collection, analysis, and reporting.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field.
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
2+ years of experience designing algorithms and data manipulation using R, Python, or SQL.
Ability to develop data pipelines and integrate tools to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
Knowledge of identifying new data sources and methods to improve collection, analysis, and reporting.
Experience with distributed data or computing tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL (preferred).
Experience with visualization packages including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2 (preferred).
Experience supporting Joint Combatant Commands, other DoD organizations, or using C++, JavaScript, and Go (preferred).
