JOB TITLE: Data Analyst, Mid As a Data Analyst, Mid, you will join the Joint and Partner Forces market team to support USCENTCOM’s data lake environment. What you'll do

  • Translate technical requirements and trends into simplified insights for diverse audiences.
  • Identify new data sources and methods to improve collection, analysis, and reporting.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • 2+ years of experience designing algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of identifying new data sources and methods to improve collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to develop data pipelines and integrate tools to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with intelligence and data analysis teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience with distributed data or computing tools including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL (preferred).
  • Experience with visualization packages including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2 (preferred).
