Cybersecurity Product Manager - AI & Security Operations is a senior-level role within the Information Security team focused on the end-to-end product management of major security operations platforms. The successful candidate will own the product roadmap, manage vendor relationships, and translate complex stakeholder needs into structured user stories and technical requirements. Key responsibilities include managing backlogs, defining performance metrics like detection accuracy and model drift, and overseeing Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver high-quality features. The role requires expertise in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence for tasks such as alert triage automation and anomaly detection. Essential skills include proficiency with SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NDR, and EDR platforms, alongside a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, LLM-based tooling, and relevant governance frameworks like NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK to solve complex security challenges.
Own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap for major security operations platforms across multiple internal customer groups.
Translate cybersecurity analyst needs into high-quality product artifacts including user stories, journey maps, and functional specifications.
Identify and translate AI use cases into actionable requirements for alert triage, anomaly detection, and automated investigations.
Evaluate vendor capabilities critically by requiring evidence of model validation, performance benchmarks, and drift management.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for vendor relationships, including governance forums, QBRs, and SLA enforcement.
Ensure AI features comply with internal policies, risk management requirements, and regulatory guidance in collaboration with data science teams.
Act as Product Owner in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to manage concurrent delivery workstreams and ensure projects stay on schedule.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple groups to ensure quality gates are met before production releases.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree (preferred).
6+ years of combined experience in enterprise product management, cybersecurity engineering, cybersecurity operations, and AI enablement.
Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and multi-quarter roadmaps.
Experience functioning as a Product Owner on Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
Working knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts applied to cybersecurity, such as behavioral analytics and SOAR automation.
Ability to critically evaluate vendor AI products and manage contractual accountability.
Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, cybersecurity frameworks, or experience in regulated environments (preferred); PMP, SAFe POPM, CSPO, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications (preferred).
