This role involves acting as an Information System Security Officer for IC cyber systems, ensuring IT engineering solutions meet high security standards and mandates. The analyst will brief system status, manage the Risk Management Framework progression, and research remediation for vulnerabilities in production or development environments. Required skills include Information Assurance, Information Systems, and Information Technology. Candidates must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph, meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, and have experience with NIST 800-53 controls and the Xacta application.

What you'll do

Act as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for IC cyber systems.
Brief leadership on system development status and RMF progression.
Author System Security Plans (SSP) and System Security Test Plans (SSTP).
Conduct self-assessments and analyze the impact of security control changes.
Assist with formal risk assessments and serve on the security assessment test team.
Remediate findings documented in the Security Assessment Report (SAR) and Plan of Actions and Milestones (PO&AM).
Research remediation options for vulnerabilities in systems under development or in production.
Document and defend reasoning for security control waivers or non-standard remediation solutions.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Polygraph.
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline and 6+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
Must have IC (SCI) RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) experience.
Must have hands-on experience with the Xacta application.
Must have knowledge of Information Assurance, Information Systems, and Information Technology.
Must have excellent oral and technical writing skills.
