The Cyber Security Advisor creates cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks against email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems. Joining the security team, you will implement and support technologies across application, network, data, endpoint, identity, and mobility domains. Daily responsibilities include developing enterprise security solutions to mitigate risks, configuring security tools, and researching successful or attempted system compromises to design countermeasures. You will coordinate with IT and end users to protect assets while providing security recommendations to management. Required expertise includes Okta Identity Cloud, LDAP, SAML, RBAC, PowerShell Scripting, Azure Active Directory, F5 BigIP APM, F5 BigIP LTM, iRules Scripting, and SSL Certificate Management. You must demonstrate proficiency in network forensics, risk frameworks, and identity governance to solve complex information systems vulnerabilities.

What you'll do

Create cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal and external attacks on company systems.
Implement and support security technologies across application, network, data, endpoint, and identity domains.
Develop and configure enterprise security solutions to mitigate information systems risks and vulnerabilities.
Research attempted or successful security compromises and design effective countermeasures.
Coordinate with IT and end users to minimize disruptions while protecting company assets.
Provide information security recommendations to management to support business strategies and goals.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 6 years of experience in at least four specified security areas.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 4 years of experience in at least four specified security areas.
One year of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of one year of education.
Experience with Okta Identity Cloud, LDAP & SAML Protocols, RBAC, Identity Governance, PowerShell Scripting, and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with F5 BigIP APM, F5 BigIP LTM, iRules Scripting (TCL), SSL Offloading, Certificate Management, and Ping Federation.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel Formulas, VBA Macros, and Automation.
Strong technical, consulting, and project management skills.
Ability to communicate technical subject matter effectively to multiple organizational layers.
